This was not our first visit but the first time we stayed overnight. Lovely well equipped room finished to a very high standard. The high standard continues throughout the inn. Friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous food and great selection of drinks and amazing views.
We will definitely stay here again 👍

This was a late lunch on Mother's Day so maybe staff stretched. But several items ordered were forgotten and the service was delayed overall. The restaurant is pleasant and the site and view amazing. The food was underwhelming.

Stopped by for a light lunch. We ordered a crab sandwich and a prawn baguette with Marie Rose sauce, accompanied by a beer and a coke. The sandwich consisted of bog standard white bread smeared with mayonnaise with very little crab (not enough for the sandwich to bulge) and the prawns had no sauce. Before we left, we explained how awful the food had been. They promised to tell the kitchen staff and offered us a free drink. We were driving, so left.

Great rooms overlooking the sea even in winter when you see the waves charging against the cliff faces. If like us you didn't get the sea view then it isn't wasted as during breakfast you have a chance to take it all in. You'll understand if you visit. Worth the trip for a relaxing stay as well as the team working hard here to make sure that you get the best experience possible.
Walkability: Some great walks on the cliffs but bring your hiking gear if you want the best out of it.

What an amazing place! Considering the age of the building the rooms were impressive. Others may complain about certain features but it’s an old building!!!!!
Loved the views, loved the services, loved the food and everything else.
Location is spot on, parking is helpful and if only we could have stayed tonight (left early to get home so the room was empty) booooooo
Looking forward to visiting again

Spent the weekend here and the stay was comfortable. We had a meal after our long trip so our well deserved food was delicious. The team had a great energy when meeting them all and helped us on checking out local areas and sights.

We are leaving this lovely place tomorrow with a heavy heart. It has lovely rooms kept beautifully clean and warm. The food breakfast & evening meals are amazing & served by very polite people and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be back. Thank you all so very much for our quiet & restful time 🌟

The location is obviously pretty epic perched over the rocks and beach. Unfortunately our room only had a tiny glimpse of the beach but it was a nice big room and very comfortable. The pub is cosy and has a great atmosphere. Mary was a great host. The food was ok - the menu got me excited but the plates that arrived were a bit underwhelming considering the prices.

We ate here twice this week whilst visiting the area. The Sunday lunch was absolutely stunning as well as the views. Last night we visited again and had a delicious array of tasty dishes. Freshly made, tasty pub classics with some great wine. Service was warm and friendly and we will definitely go again.

The 'location' of this place is second to none, so beautiful, tranquil, relaxing, remote....I could spend all day just sitting watching the sea here. The pub itself is brilliant too, big, well laid out, warm, welcoming, friendly staff. We loved it so much after popping in for a drink after our SW Coast path walk, we booked in for evening tea & we were not disappointed...food was well presented & cooked very well. Will definitely be back one day.
