It pains me to do this - but apart from the location, facilities, accommodation and views (mostly everything to give it ***** stars, we ended up on Sunday without water, staff, and felt like we had been forgotten. No power to add to it meant that the loo’s weren’t working, and neither were the showers. The kitchen area can be quite dark - and having no lights didn’t help. It’s the small things that make the difference, and given the cost of staying there, this was simply not good enough. When help did come, it felt like we were imposing somehow. Maybe we just got everyone on a bad day - but we’d expect help to have taken minutes to arrive, not hours. Our booking ref: CS240797 under Katie’s name..

Describing Kudhva feels like attempting to capture the essence of a place so uniquely distinct that words fall short. Tucked away in nature, Kudhva's raw beauty leaves an impression. We were fortunate to be one of the very few per year to secure the entire site for a memorable joint 30th birthday celebration. From the moment we stepped onto its enchanting grounds, a palpable sense of wonder embraced us. Kudhva's charm set the stage for an exceptional weekend, where we and our close friends reveled in an atmosphere of joy and merriment. The possibilities for exploration both on and off the site are fantastic. From cooling off beneath a waterfall post-yoga on a hilltop to strolling along historic mine routes leading to a remarkable seaside pub – the options are endless and everything in between. At the heart of this enchanting experience were Louise and Annabelle, whose gracious hospitality fostered genuine comfort. Seamlessly intertwining warmth and camaraderie, they ensured every guest felt not only welcomed, but valued. The success of our weekend hinged on multiple suppliers, all brought together with Louise's assistance. Kudhva's unique appeal motivated these suppliers to go above and beyond, enhancing the experience even further. If you’re on the fence of booking some time here, don’t be and just do it! Our weekend at Kudhva will be remembered by us and our friends for the rest of our lives. Love Will and Daisy

It's difficult to decide where to start with how perfect Kudhva is! I've never been somewhere so welcoming, warm and friendly. Louise has created something so unique and special that it's hard to compare it to anything else. We were first drawn here based on the incredible treehouses that only exist here, poking out above the treeline with views of the blue ocean, and they did not disappoint! Firm and function in equal measure! There is so much to explore on this site, quiet corners, beautiful views and great people. Kudhva seems to draw in so many like minded people, great conversations over a coffee in the mornings and many laughs around the fire in the evening. We've been a couple of times now, and we're excited to return to try the new black teepees! But before I end this review, I do have to say that Louise is so lovely, she really makes you feel truly welcome.

First off I'd just like to say what an amazing place to stay. To say nothing of the locations natural beauty being enough of a reason to make it a must book choice for a nights kip, the owner and other members of staff we met were among the most friendly and accommodating hosts I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with; From making us feel right at home from the get go with suggestions of places to eat and enjoy the sunset to great places to visit and camp the following night. We stayed in one of the tree houses on offer, and its simple, quirky, comfortable design, and the amazing views made it a must for any revisits to Cornwall. If an escape from the rat race or more traditional accomodation is what you are after, Kudhva is worth every penny and each bit of the five stars I can give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the most amazing time. Louise and her staff have created a unique space and have been most welcoming. We have enjoyed our retreat to the fullest and will surely be back. It’s got everything you need for a short stay. FYI there’s no phone reception (if that matters for you, but we enjoyed it) and do bring some good walking shoes! Thank you again Kudhva team!!

Kudhva is one of my favourite places in Cornwall... And I live here! What Lou and the amazing team have created is absolutely incredible and they're always so welcoming and full of great conversation & advice of places to visit. I've stayed in the Kudhvas and Danish Cabin with a group of friends, and both options are glorious. There's nothing like waking up in such a beautiful place and making your way to one of the quarries for a morning dip... And the views!! Can't wait to come back next year.

Kudhva is my favorite place in Cornwall. Taken to it by then fell in love with it from the moment I was there. I've been fortunate enough to develop a working relationship with kudhva for my retreats. The space does a lot of the work for me as it pulls people back to centre with its natural power. Louise the owner is an incredible women that uplifts everybody within her circle, the staff are brilliant and always extremely helpful whenever I have an event on there. Would strongly recommend anybody in Cornwall or visiting to come stay here for at least one night.

Kudhva is by far the most magical place I've ever been in the UK. The beauty of the land and surrounding area was so raw and breathtaking, and after visiting last summer I still think about it everyday. Everyone I met there, from the guests to the staff to the owner herself, was incredibly warm and REAL! For anyone that feels that connection to nature and community, Kudhva feels like coming home.

Louise has created a magical place in Cornwall. Kudhva is located in the middle of a forest, you have to make an effort to get there, which makes it extra special. The architectural huts are not only beautiful, they are also inspiring places to spend the night. Deconnect to reconnect. Kudhva is meant to make you feel one with nature and it actually really does that.
